We are expanding our multidisciplinary team at Ability Action Australia to support NDIS participants in the Wollongong region. As an early career or experienced Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact in your local community.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and providing timely therapeutic services.
  • Assessing participant capabilities and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • Formulating treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Providing evidence-based interventions to enhance participant outcomes.
  • Suggesting adaptations to environments to promote independence.
  • Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
  • Proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning and growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
