Role Overview

This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a motivated accountant to progress their career to the next level. As a Financial Services Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8 Accountants and controlling your own book of clients from start to finish.

  • Lead a team of experienced accountants, guiding them in their work and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial accounts, income tax returns, and business activity statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Provide expert tax advice to clients on various transactions, leveraging your technical knowledge to drive business growth.
  • Mentor junior accountants, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with IT issues, upgrades, and improvements, ensuring our systems are efficient and effective.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, building trust and credibility through your professionalism and expertise.
  • Support other managers and directors in achieving their tasks, performing complex assignments as required.
  • Review job budgets, monitor WIP, and adhere to our workflow process, ensuring accurate fee approvals.
