**Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Aboriginal Health and Family Support Specialist to join our team in Nowra, Yuin Lands.
  • This is a full-time position with the possibility of extension.

As an Aboriginal Health and Family Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing culturally safe and relevant parenting support and care to Aboriginal Families.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver essential services, ensuring safety, cultural connection, and empowerment for children, families, and individuals at risk of or recovering from violence and complex trauma.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and families, demonstrating a strong understanding of their needs and requirements.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Demonstrated ability to support and represent the needs of Aboriginal women and families.
  • Understand and uphold standards of privacy and confidentiality.
  • Hold a valid NSW Class C Driver's Licence and a current Working With Children Check.
  • Vaccination Compliance: Fully meet NSW Health vaccination requirements with documented immunisation history.

**Estimated Salary:** $60,398 - $87,301 per annum + superannuation + salary packaging.
