Agricultural Machinery Sales Professional

De Lacy Executive Limited is a leading recruitment agency specializing in agricultural machinery sales positions.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team and cover a territory within 2-3 hours drive of the base depot. The successful candidate will have a mechanical background in agricultural machinery and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
The role involves visiting customers, building relationships with existing customers, and developing new ones. You will work as part of a team to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the organization, promoting the dealership brand, its subsidiary brands, as well as supplier brands and products.
You will demonstrate and deliver new machinery to grow market share and create awareness of our product range, follow up on leads received, and attempt to generate new leads. Additionally, you will assist, attend, and conduct on-farm demonstrations, support the Group Sales Manager and other Salespeople with technical support, and follow sales through from the signed order form to attending warranty paperwork on completion of installation.
Key responsibilities also include conducting follow-up calls with customers to ensure ultimate customer service.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annumRequired Skills and Qualifications- A technical degree, apprenticeship (or equivalent) related to agricultural machinery
- Ability to build relationships with farmers and the wider customer base
- Past experience of agricultural sales is preferred, but not essential
