About the Role:

The Client Partner at Capgemini is a key position within our Public Sector and Defence business. This role is responsible for driving business growth in the public sector and Defence industries, meeting sales targets, and acting as the front line of our business. The Client Partner must foster and manage strategic relationships with key clients, orchestrate the delivery of Capgemini's services, and ensure alignment with the client's strategic goals and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic relationships with key clients in the public sector and Defence industries.
  • Craft and execute detailed account strategies to meet short and long-term goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new target accounts.
  • Collaborate with various Capgemini service lines to bring comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, playing a critical role in the frontline business growth.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic insights tailored to the client's industry challenges.
  • Manage project delivery to ensure quality standards are met and that the services align with client objectives.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between client teams and Capgemini's internal teams.
  • Monitor market and industry trends to keep client strategies relevant and proactive.

About You:

Ideally, you will have a Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field; or equivalent demonstratable experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in account management or business development, within the Defence and Defence Industries sector, is required. You must have a proven track record of meeting & exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. You should have a strong understanding of digital transformation solutions and how they apply to the public sector. Experience in strategic planning and execution of complex, large-scale projects & managed services is also necessary. You must be able to build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor. You should be able to lead cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions. You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of navigating complex business challenges. Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficient in engaging with C-level executives, are required. You will also need to be willing to travel as needed to meet business and client requirements.
