Job Description:
As a Business Development Manager at Capricorn, you will play a key role in developing business with existing members and preferred suppliers, as well as establishing new business within a designated sales territory. Your goal will be to achieve membership and sales growth for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships with members and suppliers to drive sales growth
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to drive sales targets
• Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and develop initiatives to address gaps and optimise opportunities
• Offer outstanding customer support to drive sales and build long-term relationships
• Attend sales meetings and complete regular required reporting on time
• Build and maintain good working relationships with key decision-makers internally and externally
Required Skills and Experience:
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Commercially minded with ability to create and expand on opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and exemplary service to members and suppliers
• Current driver's licence and current driving history report
• High level of autonomy coupled with ability to plan, negotiate, and present
• Strong MS office skills and understanding of the automotive parts and service industry
