About the Role

Safran Helicopter Engines Australia is seeking an experienced Commercial and Strategy Manager to lead our commercial team in achieving sales and business capture targets.

Main Objectives:

  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives with the Commercial Managers
  • Manage Certified Maintenance Centre obligations and performance
  • Support Front Office Director on proposal preparations and contracts
  • Meet assigned OEM financial and strategic objectives
  • Identify new opportunities for business expansion
  • Implement CRM engagement to achieve annual objectives
  • Report and conduct market analysis
  • Develop business plans and growth agendas for assigned programs
  • Analyse and share market-related data to support commercial decisions
  • Maintain strategic relationships aligned with Long Term and Short Term Strategy Goals
  • Create winning business solutions through customer understanding
  • Maximise SAFRAN exposure at airshows and promotional events

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Management, Business, or Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • Sales 'capture' training through an accredited institution
  • Masters/Post Graduate level qualification in Business Administration, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Finance (not essential)
  • Project management training/qualification advantageous
  • Able to develop complex business strategies from a range of variables
  • Demonstrated experience with contracting and management practices
  • Ability to deliver complex projects on time and to budget
  • Management and leadership experience, preferably in aircraft or engine MRO environments
  • Broad knowledge of maintenance practices involved with engineering or aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul

Salary Estimate: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience
