Key Responsibilities:
  • Adherence to HSSE Objectives: Ensure the Skyfuel business unit aligns with Viva Group HSSE objectives, reporting and escalating operational incidents, performance improvement, and safety culture initiatives.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Collaborate with the Commercial Finance team to analyze and report Skyfuel's commercial performance, including P&L, LE, and planning activities.
  • Strategy Definition and Assessment: Define and assess Skyfuel's strategy in alignment with Commercial objectives and growth targets, ensuring effective commercial operations and service expansion.
  • Responsible for Meeting Budget: Meet the budget for growth and sales objectives under the assigned scope, including monthly reporting, and identifying margin improvement and growth opportunities for the Skyfuel unit and Viva Aviation.
  • Day-to-Day Business Administration: Leverage Viva support capabilities (HR, Finance, HSSE, and Supply Chain) for business administration, including IP development, project definition, capex approvals, asset selection, and deployment.
  • Business Reorganization: Identify necessary reorganization of the Skyfuel business to ensure effective commercial operations, service expansion, and customer focus.
  • Cross-Business Engagement: Maintain cross-business engagement between aviation agents, supply chain logistics, and commercial teams through regular forums, 'excellence engagements,' and assurance activities to ensure safe and efficient operation of the Skyfuel Aviation network and excellent customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications: Relevant business, commerce, or technical degree/certificate or extensive exposure to concepts obtained through relevant experience.
  • HSSE Management Systems Experience: Experience with HSSE Management Systems and Assurance.
  • Aviation and Hydrocarbon Supply Chain Experience: Experience with aviation and hydrocarbon supply chain operations, including JIG, LoD, MoC, LMS, and other.
  • Budget Analysis and Planning Experience: Experience in budget analysis and planning.
  • Commercial Pricing, Real Estate, and Logistics Management Experience: Understanding of commercial pricing, real estate, and logistics management/procurement.
  • Xero and/or JDE Interface Experience: Experience with the 'Xero' and/or JDE interface.
  • Effective Team Leadership and Customer Interaction Skills: Effective team leadership and customer interaction skills in person and virtually.
  • Exceptional Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills using Excel and other formats.
  • Carbon Emissions Reduction Knowledge: Knowledge of carbon emissions reduction concepts, challenges, mitigation options, and their relative costs and availability.
  • Cross-Viva Collaborative Approach: Cross-Viva collaborative approach, demonstrated through previous positions involving multi-team connectivity tools.
Additional Information:

Pre-employment medical and health assessment is a requirement for this position. The role incumbent will also be subject to random medical, drug, and alcohol assessments. The position is also subject to federal security clearance and the ability to obtain an Australian Security Identification Card (ASIC).
