Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Engineer Specialist to provide on-site engineering services in support of our project objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Site Supervisor to prepare daily site work programs.
  • Coordinate construction engineering activities to ensure projects meet plans, designs, statutory requirements, and specifications.
  • Notify the Project Manager and Supervisor of defects, contaminations, or variations in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing site construction reports as required by the Project Manager and General Manager/Construction Manager.
  • Monitor construction progress for adherence to the program and report to the Project Manager.
  • Identify and assess project risks, reporting these to the Project Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working on water and/or wastewater utilities infrastructure projects.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to prepare, monitor, and update short-term production bar charts.
  • Capacity to produce Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
  • Ability to formulate and prepare minor contractual claims and variations.
  • Detailed knowledge of head and subcontract agreements relevant to specific projects.
  • Working knowledge of safety legislation, Australian Standards, and industry codes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience working on water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects in Australia, specifically shaft construction or microtunnelling.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $85,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Randstad offers competitive compensation packages and benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
