Job Description

This role will provide on-site engineering support to the Project Manager and Supervisor, assisting in achieving organisational and project objectives.

  • In collaboration with the Project Manager and Site Supervisor, prepare daily programming of site works to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to guarantee projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, statutory requirements, and specifications.
  • Notify the Project Manager and Supervisor of any defects, contaminations, or variations found in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing site construction reports as required by the Project Manager and General Manager/Construction Manager.
  • Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Project Manager.
  • Identify and assess project risks, reporting these to the Project Manager.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working on water and/or wastewater utilities infrastructure projects.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to prepare, monitor, and update short-term production bar charts.
  • Ability to produce SWMS.
  • Ability to formulate and prepare minor contractual claims and variations.
  • Detailed knowledge of head and subcontract agreements pertaining to specific projects.
  • Working knowledge of safety legislation, Australian Standards, and industry codes.
