Site Development Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Site Development Director to lead our microtunnelling and shaft construction projects for water and/or wastewater infrastructure. This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in construction management.

Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure that all construction works comply with company standards and contract specifications, maintaining the highest level of quality and safety.
  • To develop, review and manage construction planning, monitoring progress and ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
  • To authorise and oversee construction planning, programming, cost, time, quality, purchasing, contract administration and the activities of subcontractors.
  • To liaise with project managers to coordinate completion dates for different phases of construction.
  • To attend site, monitor progress and liaison with project managers as required, taking corrective action where necessary.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in construction management, preferably in microtunnelling and shaft construction for water and/or wastewater infrastructure.
  • Technical background, such as a trade qualification or engineering degree.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with different clients and stakeholders.
  • A valid Construction General Safety Induction card.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and standards, especially with respect to safety.

What We Offer
