The Opportunity


As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across small to medium enterprises in the Northern Metro area. You will bring a genuine passion for sales, customer engagement, and the thrill of the chase. This position will provide a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the waste management industry and develop your skills further.


Key Responsibilities



  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Ensure long-term growth and profitability of the division by identifying and developing relationships with key clients and generating new business
  • Submit quotes and follow up on leads to close sales
  • Provide excellent customer service and build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Meet sales targets in accordance with business metrics and targets
  • Collaborate with other business units at Cleanaway

About You


We are looking for a self-starter with a proven track record in business development and sales. You should have excellent time management skills, be able to work autonomously, and have a tenacious, resilient attitude and results-focused approach. Previous experience in using a Customer Relationship Management tool, such as Salesforce, is preferred.
