Defence supplier based in Heatherton is looking to expand its team and requires a Supply Chain Clerk to join their team in a full time role

**Your new role**

The Supply Chain Clerk is responsible for warehouse operations to ensure that orders are selected, packaged, loaded and dispatched and materials from customers, vendors and subsidiaries are received safely, timely and efficiently, and proper records are maintained
- Assist in receiving, checking, documenting and storing incoming materials from customers, vendors and subsidiaries
- Operate forklifts (Counter Balance)
- Prepares products for shipment including documentation
- Use of proper handling and packing techniques to prevent damage to parts and product
- Create shipments and receipts, generate receiving documents, perform enquiries on purchase order and sales order and make necessary modifications and corrections
- Unpack and distribute incoming goods to stores locations
- Pick and collate work in progress requirements
- Maintain the warehouse and adjacent surrounding areas in a neat manner
- Provide dispatch/collection functions when requested
- Operate a wide range of material handling and packaging equipment on a daily basis including: pallet jacks, forklifts, foam machines and head sealers

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ability to meet physical job demands including lifting of materials and containers
- Forklift licence LF - min 5 years experience
- Strong OH&S orientation
- High attention to detail and quality focus
- Solid computer literacy and data entry skills - proficient with current Microsoft office
- Intermediate - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication ability
- High ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure & organize time
- Able to submit and pass a police check and have no criminal convictions
- Australian citizens only

**What you'll get in return**

- $75,000 per year + super
- Monday to Friday 8am
- 4.30pm
