Job Description

The Procurement Supply Chain Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing significant changes across the supply chain and providing timely analytical support to relevant stakeholders. This includes:

  • Development and maintenance of price files and master item databases
  • Assisting in procurement market approaches and negotiations
  • Administering supplier allocations and generating reports
  • Completing category-specific analysis reports and monthly performance reviews
Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining procurement processes and procedures
  • Coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders to meet business objectives
  • Providing data analysis and insights to inform procurement decisions
  • Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in a business or related discipline, or minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant organization
  • Advanced computer literacy skills, including Excel
  • Knowledge and experience with distribution, logistics and forecasting systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
