About Our Client

This company is a leading brand in FMCG, committed to providing quality products to our customers. We are embarking on an exciting new chapter as we bring our supply chain operations in-house, transitioning from a distributor-led model to a direct-to-market approach. To support this, we are creating a new role for a Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain processes.

  • Design and manage in-house logistics operations, including warehousing and transportation, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, optimizing stock levels, reducing waste, and ensuring product availability.
  • Collaborate with sales and production teams to create accurate demand forecasts and production schedules, balancing customer demand with supply chain capabilities.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements across supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks, including supply disruptions, fluctuations in demand, and regulatory changes.

The Successful Applicant

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven managerial experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and their dependencies.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop a high performing team.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
