Salary PackageThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package, including a base salary of around AU$80,000 - AU$100,000 per annum, depending on experience. Job DescriptionThis Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst role involves providing analytical support to the procurement category manager and other key stakeholders, such as estimators. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementation of significant changes across the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness;
- Assisting in procurement market approaches and negotiations, developing supplier agreements that align with business objectives;
- Development and maintenance of price files, master item databases, and quality control processes;
- Category-specific analysis and reporting, comparing required elements under the direction of the category manager;
- Monthly performance reports, benchmarked against KPI targets;
- Assisting the contracts administration manager with supplier agreement generation and maintenance;
To succeed in this role, applicants should possess:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as business or logistics, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar organization or a related field;
- Advanced computer literacy skills, particularly in MS Office and Windows environments, with expertise in Excel;
- Knowledge and experience with distribution, logistics, and forecasting systems;
- Familiarity with various systems and project methodologies;
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate resources effectively;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team;
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and excellent communication skills.
