**Your new role**

In your new role as supply chain planner, your key responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring adequate supply of raw materials and components to meet production requirements, assisting in the production planning process and liaising with suppliers directly to procure materials.
- Inventory management of raw materials and finished goods, conducting stock takes and cycle counts, ensuring stock on hand is accurately represented within the ERP system.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across customer service, sales, and operations, communicating and resolving any delays both internally and to external customers.
- Driving a continuous improvement culture through the supply chain function, identifying opportunities for improvement, reporting to management, and implementing improvement initiatives.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrated knowledge across planning, production, logistics, and inventory management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Good technical knowledge, with proven ability to learn complex products and understand supply chain within a production environment.
- Excellent systems skills, with strong knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems exposure.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to work to deadlines, excellent administrative skills, and solid business understanding.
