As an independent contractor, you’ll be free to bring your own approach while benefiting from a collaborative, creative team passionate about results.
This role offers flexibility, with several days spent out in the field, knocking on doors and pitching our unique services with an energetic, fun approach. You’ll need to be charismatic, highly self-driven, and fiercely competitive, with a strong desire to exceed targets. Your ability to nurture leads meticulously and prioritise follow-up will make all the difference. As a contractor, you’ll take full ownership of your sales strategy and execution, with the freedom to shape the role around your strengths. You’ll work closely with a youthful, energetic management team that values creativity, where office dogs often appear in video calls. We blend a playful atmosphere with a professional edge, making it the perfect role for an experienced sales contractor who thrives on challenges.

We might not be Melbourne's newest commercial cleaners, having launched in 2023, but with extensive experience in the cleaning industry since 2011, we've grown quickly. Already chosen by well-known brands, we are now ready to scale with the right team. **Key Responsibilities**
- **Drive Sales Growth**: Utilise consumer research and thoroughly understand how our solutions meet customer needs to represent Fair Company's products and services independently.
- **Lead and Influence**: Take full ownership of closing deals and executing business development strategies to increase revenue.
- **Innovate and Strategies**: Develop and implement a territory action plan, leveraging data analysis and adjusting sales techniques based on your field interactions and results.
- **Build Relationships**: build relationships by organising your own work schedule to reach out to existing and potential clients.
**Detailed Responsibilities**
- Selling products, goods, and cleaning services to prospects as an independent contractor.
- Initiating cold calls to prospects sourced from business directories or client referrals.
- Conducting customer visits to deliver demonstrations or presentations.
- Assisting in the implementation and execution of marketing campaigns and strategies, collaborating closely with the Fair Company team.
- Generating proposals, detailed costings, and contract documents in coordination with Fair Company.
- Building and maintaining strong client partnerships to identify new business opportunities.
**About You**
- Proven sales experience (minimum 2 years) Ideally in commercial cleaning, but not essential.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a proven negotiation ability.
- Skilled in managing and nurturing professional relationships to drive business success.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Company's products or services.
- Expert in time management and adept at working and prioritising tasks autonomously to achieve goals.
- Proficient in CRM programs and Microsoft Office suite.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
