Conference and Event Organiser

**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Conference and Event Organiser to join our team. As a Conference and Event Organiser, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution, from initial concept development to post-event evaluation. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements.
- Develop comprehensive event proposals, including budgets, timelines, and logistics plans.
- Coordinate venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and other event services.
- Manage event registration processes, including online registration platforms and attendee communication.
- Oversee onsite event logistics, including setup, staffing, supervising and coordination staff and stakeholders.
- Monitor event budgets and expenditures to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement through post-event feedback and analysis.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in event management.
**Qualifications and Experience Required**:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and permits for event planning in Australia.
- Certification in event management or related fields (e.g., Certified Meeting Professional) is a plus.
- Full working rights in Australia.
