This Chartered Accounting firm is based in the heart of the CBD. They offer a friendly, collaborative and positive work environment. In this role, you will be the backbone of the accounting team, where you will ensure that the office is running efficiently and smoothly and you will regularly interact with clients.
Duties will include:
- ASIC management for clients using the ASIC Portal
- Drafting and finalising invoices
- Updating/adding new clients into Handisoft/ATO Portal etc.
- Collating financials and tax returns for presentations
- Updating lodgement reports and lodgement of tax returns
- Handisoft database management
- Scanning, filing and distributing mail
- Assisting the Partners and Managers with adhoc tasks, such as social events, internal intranet management
- Cover reception on an as-needed basis only
Skills and personal attributes required:
- Must have a year's experience within accounting firms in administration support
- Experience with the above duties
- Be a team player
- Efficient and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication, an excellent telephone manner
- Enthusiastic, flexible with a can-do attitude
- Enjoy being in a support role
