Our ANZ community continues to grow and now reaches 8 million monthly active users across ANZ, 70% of whom use the app on a daily basis. Snap’s operation in ANZ serves this highly engaged community through strategic relationships with content publishers, tech and telco companies, alongside a growing and vibrant creator ecosystem.
We’re looking for a Client Partner to join our Large Customer Sales (LCS) Team and lead our New Business portfolio at Snapchat.
The Large Customer Sales team — a group within Snap’s Advertising Solutions organization — focuses on driving revenue by building and managing strategic partnerships with top-tier brands and agencies to help them expand their digital presence on Snapchat.
Working from our Sydney office, as a Client Partner you’ll act as a business owner to develop a market or market vertical. By partnering with your local Managing Director, enterprise leadership, cross functional teams and an account management team, you will be responsible for developing a go to market strategy for new business within the LCS portfolio. You will need to have natural leadership abilities, confidence using analytical tools to synthesize insights, and strong client-facing skills, especially the ability to tell a story with data that proves the value of partnering with Snap. You should be deeply curious about new business models and have strong industry expertise, demonstrate comfort with ambiguity and possess expert problem-solving skills to remove barriers and accelerate growth.
What you'll do:
- Working in the newly formed Snap Acquisition Team, own and be accountable for quarterly and annual revenue goals, pipeline management and growth of your key target accounts- Be responsible for educating clients and agencies on best practices to deliver results- Identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities from a pre agreed list of target clients across different industry verticals in Australia- Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of accounts and provide reports as needed- Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend performance enhancements- Articulate and update clients on Snapchat products and developments- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services- Develop work plans, and create compelling sales propositions utilising internal and external data- Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service- Partner with other cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives- Develop strategic insights, highlight opportunities, and provide basic reporting on performance to clients through quarterly business reviews and joint business plans
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies- Responsible for portfolio, management of forecasts within Salesforce- Experience working with performance focused products on digital platforms, e.g. dynamic product ads, CAPI integrations, conversion lift testing is desired- In-depth knowledge of digital measurement frameworks, e.g. 3P tracking & attribution, 1P tracking + incrementality is desired- An ability to position Snap within the video ecosystem and target advertiser brand and performance budgets- Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing and ambiguous environment- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Ability to engage and partner with C-Level executives- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals- A passion for critical thinking and problem solving
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience- 6+ years of experience in brand & performance advertising, media sales and/or online advertising- Experience with onboarding and scaling new business within a portfolio- Experience working on DR/performance media campaigns across web/app and working with product based dynamic ads
