This is a fantastic opportunity for a Melbourne-based BD Executive with a strong background in law firm/professional services BD. This role is ideal for a self starter who will relish having responsibility for BD initiatives in Australia and across the Asia Pacific contributing to the firm’s strategy.
Focusing on the Corporate, Finance and Projects practices plus the Infrastructure sector, you will contribute to the firm’s client relationship management program, identify opportunities to grow existing and acquire new clients and drive the generation of profitable revenue.
This multinational firm has a clear sector alignment and related BD strategy. As the firm and its BD team undergo an exciting phase of growth, they are actively seeking a versatile BD professional adept at guiding and advising lawyers and partners in all facets of business development.
You will work closely with the Business Development Manager on pursuits across the region, support the Brand and Comms Plan for Australia and collaborate with the APAC Communications Manager to promote sector marketing initiatives. Enjoy driving client growth and acquisition initiatives, targeted pursuits and leveraging the firm campaign strategy where needed.
While working with a fun, dynamic, high quality Asia Pacific team and Business Development Manager, you will also coach and guide junior team members. Be part of an exciting time in a growing firm cementing themselves in the Australian market, supported by a global network.
- BD experience in a professional services firm (ideally law)
- Proposals, pursuits, account management and marketing experience
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong project and time management skills
- Ability to effectively work with key stakeholders
