**As a customer-focused Admin Assistant, your ‘typical day’ will have you**:
- Performing reception / switchboard and administrative duties to meet customer needs
- Providing front of house customer service to the residents, families, visitors and staff
- Conducting orientation tours of the site when delegated by the Admin Leader or Manager
- Maintaining office inventory and records
- Supporting in site recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews, and assisting with employee onboarding and orientation
- Submiting resident admission, discharge and variation information
- Creating genuine connections and empathise with residents, families and staff
**To thrive in this role you will have**:
- Previous experience in administrative support or customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and various computer systems
- A high attention to detail, accuracy and effective time management skills
- A friendly and positive attitude and the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in an Aged Care environment (desirable)
- Experience in rosters and accounts and aged care systems (highly regarded)
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or a similar qualification (desirable)
