Solution Sales Manager
Automated Intralogistics Solutions
Sydney or Melbourne

We are appointing a new Solutions Sales Manager in our Logistics Systems Group based in either Sydney or Melbourne. This role is reporting to the Head of Solution Sales ANZ and the new appointee for this key role will identify and capitalise on business opportunities that align with company capabilities, solutions and objectives. You will be intimately involved in the full sales cycle including:
- Fully understanding the customer's requirements
- Setting appropriate project sales strategies with the team
- Developing cost effective and attractive concepts (in conjunction with t
- Collaborate with the internal departments, e.g. solutions, software, project management, customer service, etc. to tailor proposals to showcase the value of company automated solutions.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalise contracts and agreements.
- Managing the preparation of professional customer proposals
- Preparing and delivering effective sales presentations
- Setting up and leading design and proposal reviews
- Providing accurate forecasting in terms of prospective orders and margin
- Maintaining good relationships with customers and monitoring their satisfaction throughout project delivery
- Developing a strong knowledge of company logistics solutions and products
- Keeping abreast of industry trends
You are a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and a proven track record of successful business development or sales/solutions engineering in warehouse automation or intralogistics solutions, you see yourself as a positive, motivated and driven individual.
You may be Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics (or similar) or qualified by experience and you have excellent customer relationship skills for both internal and external customers.
You have/are:
- Proven experience in leading and managing technical sales opportunities
- Prior experience in a solution engineering or similar role
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, technical consulting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
- A passion for staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external)
- Problem solver with high attention to detail
- Good listener with strong communication skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Prioritisation skills
- Assertiveness
