Our client is the global leader in intelligent asset management solutions, enabling organisations to transform the performance of their assets utilising a sophisticated, intuitive cloud-based platform across the entire asset lifecycle.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, Australia, they are seeking an experienced Sales Leader to drive their asset management software sales efforts, including adoption and revenue growth across various industries, with a focus on government agencies at all levels. This role requires a deep understanding of the asset management industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of consistently leading teams to exceed their sales targets in the Australian market.
**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive the adoption and sale of asset management software and services in Australia.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of sales, pre-sales and client success professionals to deliver for clients and achieve company growth objectives.
- Identify and target key industries, organisations, and decision-makers within the asset management sector to generate new business opportunities.
- Provide continuous support and direction to the sales team.
- Generate and execute strategies for new client acquisition, pipeline management and channel sales success.
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention through proactive enablement and support.
- Identify opportunities for sales process improvement to achieve high-performance.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform sales strategies and product development efforts.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to align sales initiatives with overall company objectives.
- Report on metrics, opportunities, and potential threats and forecast opportunities and revenue.

**What You Need**:

- Strong knowledge of asset management practices and processes.
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership selling CRM or similar software solutions.
- Experience selling into Australian state, local and/or federal government.
- Sales team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Experience building a sales management structure capable of maintaining solid revenue growth rates, while demonstrating excellence in pipeline, forecasting, demand generation and sales assessment predictability.
- Proven consultative solution sales skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to close deals and exceed sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
