This stable network allows us to maintain a steady supply of products, including conventional and organic quinoa and quinoa-derived products, as well as cacao, chia, hemp, various rices, and whole grains. We possess the capability to deliver mixed pallets through to full container loads and can efficiently manage stock for just-in-time delivery.

About the Opportunitiy
Reporting to the Head of Sales/Director, the Sales & Account Manager will focus on driving new and existing customer sales & business across Impulse Trading. This role will play a key role in driving sales as well as managing and nurturing customer relationships and experience. This is a crucial role in the business and is responsible for delivering budgets, delivering successful and innovative sales strategies to achieve budget and drive growth, maintain market position and increase brand awareness.
The Sales & Account Manager will be accountable for the ongoing growth, nurturing and retention of existing clients, and be required to manage a variety of key stakeholders externally & internally. The Sales & Account Manager is a key member of the team and is responsible for ensuring our company culture is understood and embraced with our team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products based on client needs and market trends.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to expand the client base.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize revenue and profitability (in collaboration with Sales Director & procurement).
- Influencing and negotiating with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels to deliver on account imperatives.
- Successfully delivering on set budgets and targets.
- Driving market growth, achieving revenue and annual sales targets and budgets.
- Developing, implementing, and executing sales and customer strategies, including market intelligence, compiling key customer information, pricing information, and competitor activity.
- Understanding inventory and supply chain lead-times and how they affect customer order fulfillment.
- Forecasting sales and managing stock allocations to ensure committed sales have stock reserved when required.
- Managing and building customer relationships by understanding their needs and where Impulse can add value, ensuring all customers have an exceptional experience.
- Collating and analysing data to develop strategies to grow customer portfolio.
- Generating and presenting insightful data-driven reports to identify trends and growth opportunities.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of minimum 5 years in sales, business development, or account management within the bulk food products or a related industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
