**About the role**

As the Business Services Support Officer, you will be a part of a small and collaborative team responsible for providing:

- efficient and effective administrative and customer support services across the office
- report production services that deliver high-quality reports to Parliament.

**About you**

You will need to genuinely enjoy providing administrative and customer service support to internal and external clients. You will need to be adaptable and willing to learn new things.
- administrative experience in an office-based environment
- well-developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- excellent organisation and time management skills
- advanced skills and experience in MS Word
- intermediate knowledge and experience in the use of Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- accuracy and attention to detail in presenting written communication materials.

**Salary**

$58,709 - $63,154 pa (ASO2 classification level) plus 11.5% superannuation

**Essential requirements**
- Be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident at the time of applying.

**Specific requirements**
- Required to participate in a roster to cover business operations between 8.30am and 4.30pm.
- Flexible work arrangements (including work from home) are available for this role, however the roster requirements include some scheduled in-office days.
- Significant out-of-hours work will be required during the annual report production period (August and September) and some work outside normal hours may be required at other times. Generally, leave cannot be taken during August or September.
