**The Role**
Make a difference in our community

Working closely with the community this role will entail:

- Investigating all types of animal matters, from general nuisance complaints to investigation dog attacks.
- Gaining compliance within a large range of animal matters.
- Pro-actively promoting animal matters including patrolling parks, promoting responsible pet ownership and attending community events.
- Ensuring community safety through a range of animal management initiatives and working across the Compliance team.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills:

- Great communication skills to interact with the community, and to gain compliance from community members
- A high attention to detail in regard to investigations, with experience in preparation of briefs and attending court would be highly regarded. A passion for animal welfare and responsible pet ownership is also highly regarded.
- Animal handling experience will be highly regarded.
