**The Role**
Make a difference in our community
Reporting the to the Manager Building and Planning, this role will lead and coordinate a team of statutory planning professionals to ensure the timely, consistent, and competent management of the planning functions and the highest level of service to applicants. Actively contributing to the leadership team and departmental direction, this fast-paced role will effectively promote priorities and fast track initiatives, to deliver exceptional planning outcomes for the municipality. The role will drive a culture of collaboration and driven decision making, where staff are empowered through shared problem solving and teamwork.

**About you**
You have a strong technical background in Statutory Planning. You are a proven leader and passionate about delivering excellent customer service to applicants and drive a culture of accountability and collaboration. You present with a strategic mindset and continuous improvement approach, with and ability to manage a high workload and prioritize effectively.
