We are currently seeking a dynamic Partnership Development Manager (ANZ) to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.
As the Partnership Development Manager for the Fortinet Training Institute in Australia and New Zealand, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and advancing Fortinet’s mission to close the global cybersecurity skills gap and help build the cybersecurity workforce of the future.
Your work will directly contribute to Fortinet’s vision of strengthening the global cybersecurity talent pool while ensuring our partners receive exceptional value through Fortinet Training Institute offerings.
**As a Partnership Development Manager, you will**:
- Business Development & Partnership Growth
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities for the Fortinet Training Institute.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring alignment with the Fortinet Training Institute’s goals and objectives.
- Work with the Fortinet partner community to identify and pursue Training Institute joint initiatives that address regional cybersecurity skills gaps.
- Actively drive business development to expand the Fortinet Training Institute’s reach and impact in the region.
- Program Management & Execution
- Manage and execute a variety of programs, including the Academic Partner Program, Education Outreach Program, and Veterans Program in Australian and New Zealand.
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve program processes, promotions, and deliverables, ensuring a seamless partner experience.
- Support the development and implementation of new offerings with internal and external contacts, such as the Security Awareness and Training Service, Certification Program, and Authorized Training Center program, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the region.
- Sales & Partner Enablement
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Fortinet’s regional sales teams, keeping them informed of all Fortinet Training Institute offerings and how they can leverage them in client meetings, trade shows, and events.
- Assist regional sales team break into new accounts by leading with Fortinet training institute offerings.
- Marketing & Communication
- Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to create and maintain marketing materials, sales assets, and collateral that effectively communicate the value of the Fortinet Training Institute’s offerings.
- Drive the creation of engaging, region-specific content to support awareness and promotion of Fortinet Training Institute’s training programs across Australia and New Zealand.
- Strategic Planning & Innovation
- Lead ongoing strategic planning for Fortinet Training Institute’s programs, ensuring continuous innovation to meet the demands of the cybersecurity landscape.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation in Fortinet Training Institute’s offerings.
**We Are Looking For**:
- Experience
- 10+ years in the technology sector, with at least 10 years in business development, channel partnerships, or education-focused roles, ideally within cybersecurity, IT training, or technology-related industries.
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and managing global partnerships and ecosystems, particularly in commercial and academic training environments.
- Proven track record in sales or business development, with direct experience in driving global or regional initiatives.
- Deep understanding of the technical education industry, including IT and cybersecurity certifications, as well as the needs of educational institutions, government entities, and non-profit organizations.
- Strategic & Leadership Skills
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, with experience developing and executing long-term initiatives.
- A self-motivated and independent leader who can take ownership of objectives, define clear goals, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from technical experts to senior executives.
- Industry Knowledge & Relationships
- Experience working with global vendors, associations, and government bodies.
- Familiarity with higher education and government sectors, including trends and challenges in the cybersecurity workforce and training ecosystems.
- Education & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field. Or equivalent industry experience or Fortinet experience.
