**ROLE**
As Volunteer & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for all volunteer/student placement programs, coordinate the logistics of much needed community programs and also support the fundraising events.

You will play a crucial role in recruiting, training, engaging, and retaining volunteers while working in a collaborative team to plan and execute high quality events, delivering an excellent experience for the participants

Reporting to the Marketing and Engagement Team leader, this is a wonderful opportunity to build on your volunteer management/events experience for this incredible cause

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordination of Volunteer/student programs, fundraising events & logistics.
- Recruitment and retention of volunteers.
- Execution of events whilst collaborating with wider team.
- Ensure volunteer initiatives and event logistics align with wider organisational goals.
- Build relationships with community organisations and partners.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, event details and feedback.
- Collect and analyse data on attendance, engagement, and impact.
- Report and present on volunteer program performance.
- Use data to identify areas for improvement and inform future decision making.

**YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES**
- Experience in volunteer and event management.
- Practical exposure to the NDIS ideal but not essential.
- Experience working in the NFP sector.
- High level of computer, software, and database literacy.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Police Check, WWCC and NDIS Worker Check.
- Current driver’s license.
- Current First Aid.
- Up to date Covid-19 vaccination.
