The Admissions team is a dynamic, hardworking team, committed to providing the best possible customer service in a very fast paced environment. The team comprises of a senior admissions officer, a senior study abroad officer, 5 customer service officers and 5 student advisors who all report to the Manager, Admissions.

**About the role**

This role provides information and customer service to clients and stakeholders of the NSW government schools international student program and supports the admissions team.
- Liaise with schools and external stakeholders to arrange placement in schools and homestay families.
- Make assessments and decisions on individual cases based on departmental policies and federal and state government legislation related to International students.

**About you**
- Fluency in at least one Asian language is desired.
- Experience in customer service roles dealing with non-English speaking overseas customers.
- Experience in International Education will be highly regarded.
- Willingness to seek guidance and direction from experienced staff.
- Be proactive and self-motivated.

**Essential requirements of the role**

Hold a valid clearance to work with Children (WWCC) for paid employment.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
