**About the Role**
The Events Coordinator at Melbourne Law School plays a crucial role in organising and executing large-scale events within the School, as directed by the Communications Lead. Operating within the Communications and Events team of the MLS/FOE/FBE Divisional Grouping, this position ensures alignment of Law School events with integrated communication strategies. With a primary objective of fulfilling strategic goals for the Law School, the Events Coordinator facilitates a wide range of events to foster meaningful connections between the School and it’s wider community.

Your responsibilities will also include:

- Responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of events, this includes planning, coordinating, promoting, delivering, evaluating and reporting on the outcomes.
- Responsible for ensuring events are delivered on time, within assigned budget to meet the strategic objectives of the division and the institution

**Who we are looking for**

You will also have:

- A degree with some relevant experience, or extensive experience and specialist expertise in events, or an equivalent combination of both.
- Proven experience in coordinating and delivering a broad range of events, including high-profile speaker-driven events
- Proven ability to coordinate and direct service providers and external contractors to meet deliverables
