We’re on the hunt for a highly motivated Key Account Manager to join their thriving team to manage a territory across the Central Coast, Newcastle and the Hunter Region. As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, client growth, retention and the satisfactory delivery of products and services. You are accountable for achieving targets, proactive client management, forecast accuracy, driving adoption/usage with customers and prospects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

**About the role**:

- You will cultivate and develop relationships with key stakeholders and be at the forefront of the sales and negotiation process, from the initial capabilities presentation until close.
- Actively drive sales, build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts within your geographical territory
- Handle and respond to all sales enquiries and leads promptly
- Work with customers to provide the appropriate solutions and products to exceed their expectations
- Maintain your technical and product knowledge
- Active participation, completion, submission and negotiation in relation to Expressions of Interest, Quotations and Tenders.
- Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through the proper use of sales tools and the understanding of the sales process

**What we’re looking for**:

- Track record of achieving targets in a current or past sales position.
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in account management or new business development in a B2B environment
- A strong customer focus and the ability to identify client needs and solution sell
- A strong understanding of sales process and the ability to manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Ability to build strong long term partnerships and manage high end professional negotiations
- Experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships
- Strong computer skills including Salesforce and Microsoft
- Ability to work autonomously
- A current driver’s licence
