The Treasurer for LNSW will be motivated to drive income generation to create meaningful and impactful change for LNSW Members and lacrosse in the state.

  • Be responsible for financial control and management.
  • Oversee general operations, with responsibility for improving existing systems and processes.
  • Provide operational and financial support to all volunteers and members.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

LacrosseNSW Finances

  1. Oversee external book-keeper with a monthly catch-up.
  2. Management of end to end financial processes for LacrosseNSW.
  3. Management of all Audit and reporting requirements of LacrosseNSW.
  4. Preparation of budgets and cash flows forecasting.
  5. Direct involvement with financial management of the events area, working with the portfolio holders to ensure that expenses are minimised and kept in line with budget.
  6. Assisting other board members to minimise costs where appropriate.
  7. Meeting all compliance requirements including ATO.
  8. Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisers, insurers, bankers etc.
  9. Manage ASIC, AGM and Annual Report.
  10. Contact point for all external member/consumer queries.
  11. Manage reimbursements/reconciliations.

LacrosseNSW Fundraising

  1. Develop and execute fundraising strategic plans to grow LNSW's impact.
  2. Provide recommendations for new initiatives and funding opportunities to the board.
    • Scope and develop plans and submissions for diverse revenue streams, including grants, sponsorships, and donations.
  3. Oversee grant submissions and ensure the organisation is reporting on time.
  4. Assisting in strategising, managing, and implementing a fundraising program to achieve targeted outcomes.
  5. Engaging new, nurturing and further developing existing, philanthropic relationships.
  6. Establishing and implementing networking events, and opportunities for current and future donors to engage and align with the objectives of LNSW.
  7. Establish a donor recognition strategy.
  8. Implement a detailed plan including budget for all board portfolios.
