Executive Director Opportunity at Greenpeace Australia Pacific

Greenpeace Australia Pacific is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker to contribute to the governance and direction of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance on setting the direction of Greenpeace Australia Pacific
- Monitor and ensure alignment of programs and activities with our mission and goals
- Ensure executive performance and provide objectives and performance indicators for the CEO
- Oversee financial and other reporting to the Board and ensure adequate systems of internal control
- Comply with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) Governance Standards
- Deep understanding of the cultural, political, economic, and social context of the Pacific
- Sufficient time to effectively commit to Greenpeace Australia Pacific Board work (approximately 15-20 hours per month)
- Relevant governance experience, skills, and availability to be considered for future leadership roles
- Strong networks and ability to provide significant value to the Greenpeace Australia Pacific Board
As a member of our Board, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of Greenpeace Australia Pacific and make a meaningful impact on our mission to protect the environment and promote social justice.
