The Seniors Portfolio Holder is the key and central point of contact for LacrosseNSW Senior players and coaches and provides administrative management on behalf of LacrosseNSW for the smooth functioning of this program.

KEY AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

LacrosseNSW Seniors' Program

  1. Engage and recruit coaches to achieve portfolio objectives set by the LacrosseNSW Board.
  2. Promote alignment between LacrosseNSW strategic objectives and Seniors' activities via regular sessions with Senior teams including men's and women's programs.
  3. Act as liaison between LacrosseNSW and Seniors' players and coaches.
  4. Relationship management between LacrosseNSW and Seniors' coaches.
  5. Draft and distribute meeting agenda items monthly. Attend Board meetings monthly unless otherwise communicated.
  6. Management of Seniors' Program operating procedures.

LacrosseNSW Seniors Tournament

  1. Assist with the planning and drive the execution of the annual Seniors Tournaments, including but not limited to- Seniors' Nationals, East Coast Cup, Canberra Friendlies.
  2. Liaise with LacrosseNSW's Treasurer on tournament budgets.
  3. Manage tournament admin and logistics, with support from events team as required:
    • Registrations – set up, tracking and reporting
    • Venue bookings – approval of event contracts and payment of invoices
    • All Tournament logistics
    • Post-event – sharing of post-event evaluation summaries with LacrosseNSW Board
    • Work with tournament coordinators for all external tournaments
    • Work with LacrosseNSW Marketing team to ensure all tournaments are promoted effectively and within ideal timeframe

LacrosseNSW Senior Financials

  1. Understand the financial objectives communicated by LacrosseNSW.
  2. Manage and oversee Seniors' inventory and liaise with Treasurer on all orders.
  3. Create yearly projection on estimated expenses and investments:
    • This includes tournament travel and accommodation, men's kit, women's kit, etc.
