Our Change Manager will be passionate about the development of a people-centered culture, adaptive and resilient. This pivotal role will support leaders and staff to improve organizational change capability, resilience, and adaptiveness.

The primary objective of this role is to deliver a successful transition of CCI, and its partners (SCHN and UNSW) to the new Minderoo Comprehensive Cancer Centre (MCCCC).

This will involve co-design and implementation of a clear and fit-for-purpose change process, ensuring effective communication and engagement of key stakeholders, bringing them on a collaborative journey towards the formation of the new MCCCC.


As our Change Manager your purpose will be to:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the CCI transition and execution strategy to prepare for the MCCCC.
  • Coordinate the process to design CCI's change program, including the development of a clear and socialised implementation plan.
  • Represent and champion CCI and MCCCC interests and vision in crossorg project, governance or working group forums.
  • Contribute to the development of and adherence to a clear communications and engagement plan for both internal and external stakeholders to support successful implementation of the change program.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Strategy & Transformation, Director of People & Culture, Head of Built Environment, MCCCC Project Coordinator and CCI Corporate Communications Manager and provide direction, guidance, advice and input as the Change and Engagement expert within CCI.
  • Establish Change Program reporting approach, and ensure progress is discussed with key stakeholders and groups, including evaluation and any corrective actions identified and implemented, in relation to change and transition program.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across CCI Executive Team, and departments, Sydney Children's Hospital Network, MCCCC Project Team, to enable the successful delivery of the change implementation plan.
  • Contribute to the long term strategic and operational planning strategies within CCI and provide expert input into the change management requirements and implications of implementing the strategies.
  • Provide consultative advice, information including briefing papers & reports to CCI Leadership Team and Board as requested.

To succeed you will have

  • Significant experience in a senior change and transition role
  • 5+ years' direct experience as a change practitioner, with demonstrated experience on initiatives of high complexity, with enterprisewide reach, executive / C suite stakeholder engagement and / or requiring development and deployment of strategy.
  • Advanced relationship building, engagement and communication skills, at all levels in an organisation including Board level.
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement and communications management experience, facilitating engagement and communication activities with a large and diverse range of stakeholders.
