ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused individual eager to join our Administration team for a part-time fixed-term role covering parental leave. The position is based in Townsville, with working hours from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with customers and buyers in person, on the phone, or via email to offer information and assistance with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Managing incoming mail, coordinating couriers, entering data, and ordering office supplies
  • Efficiently handling administrative tasks such as processing purchase orders accurately and meeting deadlines
  • Ensuring smooth operations by fulfilling office administrative duties promptly and accurately to meet expectations
  • Assisting internal departments with their administrative needs to help achieve their goals

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and background:

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced reception or customer service role
  • Outstanding customer service abilities with a knack for building strong connections
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective and clear communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Great attention to detail and adept time management skills
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
