As an integral part of the Finance team, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the improvement of the company’s bottom line. Your primary objective is to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, as well as supporting the smooth running of the business operations through various finance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions within MYOB Advanced and perform reconciliations at the end of each month. Complete ad-hoc finance tasks managed through our accounts' inboxes to support business operations. Responsible for completing finance-related checklist items including accounts payables, accounts receivable, cash payments and receipts, weekly and monthly reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Contribute to the timely completion of end-of-month processes, including completing checklists and reconciling trial balances for their six businesses. Produce standard reports and statistical information for use by senior colleagues. Carry out all day-to-day duties delegated by your people leader. Selection Criteria:
Essential:
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow. Basic knowledge of accounting principles. An engaged individual who aligns with our company culture. Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Proactive and positive attitude towards daily processes. Ability to work well within a team and maximise contributions. Desirable:
Completed or completing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of, or experience with, MYOB Advanced.
