Client Services Officer – Gold Coast
About SASH
The Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) is the largest, privately owned network of veterinary hospitals in the Southern Hemisphere, offering multi-disciplinary specialist and emergency services across multiple locations in New South Wales, South Australia and now Queensland. At SASH, we are committed to providing exceptional care and service to pets, their families, and the veterinary community.
About the Role
Our client services team represents a pet owner’s first impression of SASH and the service we strive to offer is 5 star. We are seeking Client Services Officer’s to join our inaugural Gold Coast team on a permanent, full time basis. As we are a 24hr facility, this team will be working a range of shifts over a 12-hour roster.
These positions will be required to start on January 2nd to allow for 2 weeks of training. The Hospital will be open to the public from January 20th, 2025. You'll need to be available for the training period to be considered for the position.
Some tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting of clients and organising waiting room workflow.
- Management of high volume email inbox and digital phone system as part of our contact centre.
- Coordination and booking of appointments both over the phone and in person.
- Acting as a liaison between clients and the clinical team.
- Handling client payments.
- Requesting medical records, test results and other documents from third parties.
- Processing pet medical insurance claims.
About You
We are looking for someone who can bring a positive, engaging and helpful attitude to our client services team. This role will suit someone who prides themselves on providing excellent service and enjoys problem solving. To be considered you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar, fast paced reception position.
- A proven ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks accordingly.
- Be passionate about animals and providing excellent customer service.
- Be empathetic, compassionate and professional in all of your interactions.
- Have a clear, professional and sensitive communication style.
- Demonstrate a reliable and committed work ethic, with a resilient attitude.
- Present a polished and professional demeanour.
Highly desirable but not essential skills include:
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception role.
- Previous experience with EzyVet software.
