Job Scope:

We are looking for an experienced Bids and Proposals coordinator to manage our Bid and Tender processes by working with our close-knit and experienced team. In doing so, you will take a business opportunity or Tender and produce a well-structured, complete, compelling proposal for straightforward shutdowns to more complex jobs like rebuilding a thickener or doing a bearing change on balance machines.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prioritize all stages of the tender to execution stage – ie; assessing information, organizing response material, maintaining databases, internal business development, submission, and proposal follow-up.

  • Development and publication of proposals, tenders, and other written documentation

  • Liaising with various personnel within the business line, sales, engineering, supply, services, and project execution teams to collect information and provide required support.

  • Ensure company bid management procedures are followed and identify and correct any non-compliance.

What you bring:

  • Preferred experience working in a mechanical/fabrication/cost estimate/service environment

  • Experience working in the mining industry

  • Experience in sales support, product, and proposal management

  • Capability to network and coordinate client requirements/expectations

  • High attention to detail and capable of working under tight deadlines

  • Ability to build strong client relationships

  • Willingness to travel to various client sites
