About Our Client

The client is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to reducing food waste and fighting hunger. By partnering with suppliers and food donors, they rescue surplus food and distribute it to communities in need, promoting sustainability and supporting vulnerable individuals and families.

Job Description

  • Serve as the welcoming face and first point of contact for all clients and visitors.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with empathy and professionalism.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for staff, clients, and volunteers.
  • Provide administrative support to various teams, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and assisting with office coordination.

The Successful Applicant

  • Ability to handle challenging situations and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Proven experience as an Administrator or Receptionist, with a strong background in the Not-for-Profit sector.
