About the role
You will be a confident all-rounder who enjoys working autonomously from your home office. Mechanically minded with sales experience, you will also enjoy rolling up your sleeves (from time to time), and offering support to the service team.
What you will be doing:
- Promoting the company's products in a professional, positive and timely manner
- Managing existing customers and proactively seeking out new customers
- Following up on quotations
- Achieving and/or exceeding KPIs
- Working closely with internal & external stakeholders
- Staying abreast of competitor, industry and product developments
- Assisting in administrative functions as required
- Other tasks as defined by the GM
- Occasional trips to Melbourne (product training, etc)
Who you are
- Steam and condensate product knowledge and familiarity
- Ideally, a degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience (ie plumbing)
- Previous experience in technical sales and sales support
- Self-driven, determined and motivated
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- A team player who is happy to travel
- Good time management skills
