Make an impact at Serco

As an Operations Coordinator in our Defence team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting regional performance and stakeholder relationships. This is your opportunity to work closely with the leadership team, managing key administrative and workforce coordination tasks that drive the success of our operations.

You’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Coordinating workforce activities, including roster management and leave approvals
  • Ensuring compliance with mandatory training and staff readiness requirements
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Managing data accuracy in workforce tools and reporting to stakeholders
  • Optimising rosters and addressing payroll-related queries
  • Assisting with internal and client reporting requirements

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Strong attention to detail and data management skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management capabilities
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI)
  • Ability to adapt to change, work independently, and meet competing deadlines
  • Prior administrative experience in a 24/7 rostering environment (preferred)
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
