Venues Coordinator

As we prepare for the opening of the brand new South Australian Sports Institute and Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) at Mile End, the Venues Operations team is expanding
The new position of Venues Coordinator will join the team responsible for the effective operation of a range of sport and recreation venues and other ORSR facilities. The role will coordinate the event planning, facility readiness, appropriate allocation and rostering of relevant staff and contractors for sporting/community and functions.
The Venues Coordinator role is responsible for the effective operation of a range of sport and recreation venues and associated administration facilities. The role will coordinate the event planning, facility readiness, appropriate allocation and rostering of relevant staff and contractors for sporting/community and functions hosted by the venues team.
The position is required to establish and maintain effective partnerships with tenants, service providers, contractors, operational staff, event stakeholders, community groups and members of the associated sporting communities, including state sporting organisations, international teams and clubs.
