The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating event planning, facility readiness, and allocating relevant staff and contractors for sporting, community, and functions hosted by our venues team.
Job DescriptionThe Event Venue Operations Specialist role involves:
- Coordinating event planning, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual requirements;
- Ensuring facility readiness, including cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs;
- Allocating relevant staff and contractors, including event coordinators, technicians, and security personnel;
- BUILDING EFFECTIVE PARTNERSHIPS WITH TENANTS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, CONTRACTORS, OPERATIONAL STAFF, EVENT STAKEHOLDERS, COMMUNITY GROUPS, AND MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATED SPORTING COMMUNITIES;
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification;
- EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS;
- ABILITY TO WORK IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including:
- A SALARY OF $60,000 - $70,000 PER ANNUM;
