About the Role

This is a part-time position at 0.6 FTE requiring a proactive and energetic professional with exceptional event coordination skills. As a valued member of our team, you will support the delivery of various events and programs, including SA Zero, Adelaide Connected, Insights Series, and Emerging Leaders Series.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage event sponsorship, ensuring seamless partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Collate expense records for multiple events, maintaining accuracy and transparency.
  • Assist in coordinating events from invitations to post-event evaluation, including RSVP management, nametag preparation, theming, speaker coordination, venue selection, menu planning, and logistical arrangements.
  • Prepare sponsorship proposal documents, speeches, and presentation slides as required.
  • Support the team in planning and delivering the Adelaide Connected Podcast series, scheduling recordings, communicating with talent, and promoting podcast campaigns.
  • Coordinate client meetings, briefings, and roundtables, confirming venues, sending invitations/RSPVs, arranging catering, and taking minutes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client, sponsorship, and membership data within CRM systems.
  • Prepare and disseminate regular communications to members and stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and wider team as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with superior time management, diary, and administration management experience. Advanced computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and CRMs, are essential. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working in event coordination across various sizes and types of events.
  • A multiskilled professional with excellent initiative and drive to succeed.
  • Skilled in a range of administrative functions, including business and client relationship management, and event management.
  • Advanced computer literacy skills, including design and CRM programs such as Eventbrite, Canva, Survey Monkey, and Mail Chimp.
  • Exceptional stakeholder, client, and sponsorship relationship skills, with a strong understanding of their importance to the organisation's growth and success.
  • An understanding of accounts and expenditure.
  • Exceptional diary management skills, including the organisation of various meetings.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • The ability to work outside of normal business hours when required.

Salary
