An exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamic individual with a high level of administrative, interpersonal and communication skills to join our Event Planning team.

Reporting to the Manager, Event Planning Services, the successful applicant will be responsible for the planning of small-medium events, by working in partnership with clients to match their needs and venue product. This is achieved by using outstanding verbal and written communication skills; understanding and determining all event details through professional liaison with clients, suppliers and other members of the ACC team. A key component of the role is maximising yield through efficient and effective planning and targeted up-selling.

The ability to work independently with excellent time management and organisation skills, outstanding attention to detail and being able to work to tight deadlines are vitally important in this role. A proven track record in successfully achieving quality outcomes, and meeting and exceeding personal and team business targets, is essential, together with a proven ability to self-manage a demanding workload. The successful applicant will be an innovative thinker, with a demonstrated ability to initiate, implement and adapt to change.

This role will be best suited for someone with a keen passion for events and advanced communication, interpersonal and PC-based office skills, including event booking based databases, such as Momentum’s EBMS.

Whilst the position involves predominately Monday to Friday work, it is imperative that applicants are able to work outside normal hours if required.
