ABOUT THE ROLE

The Tour Group Administrator will be Responsible for the administration of the Tour groups, managing them, booking, planning and informing locations a about their arrival and ensuring that the store provides the highest level of customer service possible.

THIS ROLE WILL SEE YOU:
  • Register data related to the tour groups and file documentation
  • Maintain close liaison with Tour Group Manager and management team.
  • Maintain the central repository for registered Tour Leaders
  • Complete registration forms and ensure that their compliance
  • Create and generate the corresponding invoices
  • Tracking of uncollected commissions
  • Prepare check requisitions for Tour Group
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, Airport security emergency and health and safety procedures.
  • Complete activities and actively support and promote initiatives to create and grow sales in the PRC (People Republic of China) Tour Group market. Including Free independent travelers and supplementary Tour Group markets.
  • Review all commission documents and ensure their compliance and accuracy on daily basis
  • Maintain all commission payments data including cash payments and bank transfer payments
  • Complete all commission reports daily and monthly
  • Respond to all commission enquirers from both external, such as tour group leaders, and internal such as Finance and Compliance departments.
WHO ARE YOU?

Essential:
  • Demonstrable experience of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to communicate fluently (verbal and written) in English and Mandarin
  • Proven, track record of achieving successful sales, in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness, as manual handling/heavy lifting will be involved
  • Demonstrable high standard of personal presentation
  • Demonstrable ability to be punctual
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of retail/customer service operations.
  • Strong numerical ability.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • A strong sense of urgency at all times
  • Demonstrable proactive approach to all work tasks
  • Ability to manage various competing priorities and ability to assess and resolve basic problems
  • Demonstrated ability to work well and effectively as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication.
Desirable:
  • Ability to communicate to a business level in Cantonese
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Tour Groups and Tour Companies
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in using Chinese social media
  • Knowledge / experience of international brands and a diverse range of products
  • Experience of working in the duty free environment or luxury retail
  • Have current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written communication
